The hairs of Capra Hircus Goat, grown in the season of winter to protect them from the harsh season and thereby in the season of spring, the hairs naturally shed off are to be plucked to protect the Goats from the shine of summers. Artisans like Tufail Ahmed have made their life so satisfied with the craft of Pashmina that he feels Pashmina onto his hands even when he is not working on one. Tufail Ahmed after getting a diploma, worked as his father did and cherished the path of Pashmina over these years. “Being on a handloom and hand working on a Pashmina Shawl makes me feel sane and obviously it sustains my life.” Said Tufail Ahmed joyfully. There are some moments when Pashmina takes over your soul and makes it vow all along the journey of creation. Machine looms cannot scatter radiance of beauty like the Pashmina does when it's handcrafted.
