The Exquisite Craftsmanship
A unique pattern in Pashmina shawls is a confluence of two different embroidery pattern - Papier Mache and Tilla Dozi - are at times combined to make shawls more lavish and extravagant. To start with, post weaving, the shawl is handed over to Papier Mache artisans who embroider thick and bright motifs over the base. This shawl goes to tilla artisans who further embroider the shawl in Tilla threads, making the patterning exceptional and unique.
