Our pure cashmere scarves are hand woven on the traditional wooden looms by an artisan which is also referred in India as pashmina scarves. It takes about 3 days for a single cashmere scarf to be crafted. We use the finest cashmere fibre from the Himalayas in the spring / summer months by carefully combing out the fur of the changthangi goats. The changthangi goats are known to produce the finest cashmere fibre. This fibre is then carded, combed & spun into yarns to be woven into the cashmere scarves.
The art of weaving cashmere is centuries old & has been passed down through the generations in these artisan families. Our cashmere scarves are woven using the age old diamond weave of the twill tapestry technique of weaving. The diamond weave lends our scarves a fluid drape & a soft touch, both of which are the main characteristics of a handwoven cashmere scarf.
We appreciate that you expect the finest quality of Pashmina from us. So we follow a stringent quality-testing approach on every single piece that we produce. Our Pashminas go through an inflexible testing procedure at the Craft Development Institute (CDI) of Srinagar, the only fully-focused Pashmina lab in India. After testing our Pashminas come with lab reports, fibre tests, name of product and artisan and product life and durability.
We guarantee the purity and authenticity of our products. We are 100% sure about our products being handwoven from pure Cashmere yarn. If you are not satisfied with the product, or if it is proven that any of our claims are false, you can easily return it to us with a full refund.
