Handwoven to perfection, each of our pure pashmina hijabs are a masterpiece in themselves. The ingenuity of the craftsmanship is such that the wraps are feather light yet extremely warm. The amber color imparts a radiant glow to the hijab & wearer alike.
The fine cashmere hijabs, hand woven on the traditional wooden loom takes about 16 hours to be ready. The fine cashmere fibre is collected from the capra hircus goats in the spring / summer months by carefully combing out the fur. The fibre is then carded, combed & spun into yarns to be woven into the cashmere hijab.
Quality & Testing
Our stringent quality-testing approach tests the textile, and protects the interest of customers. Testing is done by The Craft Development Institute (CDI) of Srinagar, the only fully-focused cashmere lab in India.
We send the original test reports for all our embroidered pieces. We would also be happy to share the scanned copy prior to the purchase for your satisfaction upon request.
