Our pure pashmina hijabs are hand woven on the traditional wooden looms by an artisan. It takes about 4 days for a single pashmina hijab to be crafted. We use the finest cashmere fibre from the Himalayas in the spring / summer months by carefully combing out the fur of the changthangi goats. The changthangi goats are known to produce the finest cashmere fibre. This fibre is then carded, combed & spun into yarns to be woven into the luxurious hijabs.
The art of weaving cashmere is centuries old & has been passed down through the generations in these artisan families. Our cashmere hijabs are woven using the age old diamond weave of the twill tapestry technique of weaOur fine cashmere hijabs are hand woven on the traditional wooden looms by an artisan.
